Through
the collaborative efforts of the Connecticut Departments of Transportation,
Environmental Protection and Public Safety; the Federal Highway
Administration; and the Center for Land Use Education and Research,
a statewide mosaic of the new 0.8 foot resolution orthophotos
can now be viewed on line. Special thanks is due George Davis,
ERMapper, for creating the compressed statewide mosaic, which
is being served using ERMapper's Image Web Server technology. |

Check
out some high resolution true-color coastal imagery! |
In
September 2004, 0.5 meter resolution color airborne imagery for
Connecticut's coastal communities was acquired through a coastal
remote sensing project funded by the NOAA
Coastal Services Center. The data were acquired during
leaf-on conditions and are excellent for viewing vegetation but
some features will be hidden beneath trees.
